I enclose herewith the tracing of the new cord which it is proposed to carry through the Ordnance Department property; and I regret to say, that as at present designed it passes too close to the main magazine at A and to a Laboratory Establishment ordered to be built at B that I cannot hold out any hope of the sanction of the Secretary of State for War being obtained.
